Wireless Information field day - the after math |

 Firstly we would like to thank everyone who turned up, or rang, about
the Wireless information day that was held yesterday; it sure was good
to see so many faces and interested people (around 20~25 in total!).
Secondly the project would like to thank the Australian Wireless
Association members that gave their precious weekend time to come up
and lend thier knowledge and expertise to make the day enriching for us
all, thanks guys!
As some of you may have noticed we also went
to the computer fair on Saturday and managed to drum up a fair amount
of interest from passing-by fair goers. Of particular note was the
interest from a person (towards the end of the day, phew) who has
excellent LoS to the Windradyne and Eglington area (which was confirmed
by the lot of us visiting after packing up - o boy what a spot for an
AP!), which would help us provide connectivity to those areas.
Hopefully we managed to get something up in the not so distant future
so we can continue to expand the network.
