BXwifiAP04 and 22mb backbone |

 Well it was a busy weekend for the Wireless network. Barnacle and
myself did alot of testing and setting up of various network segments
most notable the new access point BXwifiAP04 the AP01 - AP02 backbone
link. Which is now running at 22mb. A throughput test showed speeds of
1.2Mbytes a second which in the world of wifi is really fast :)
The
new acces point which is kindly being hosted buy Steve "the Point". it
is located in whitegate estate which is on the Blaney road. it has
great views of wyndradyne. we already have one node connected to AP04
:) welcome John and Steve.
all in all it was a great weekend and I'm sure the other admins will have more news latter on
