 Well, AP02 has been rock solid since the initial install by myself and
Somefella mid 2003. A few things have happened along the way, first was
the relocation to a different part of the house, then a change from an
omni antenna to a waveguide, then the upgraded alu waveguide from Flak.
Well now the box has had a revamp. Debian is gone, FreeBSD is now the
flavour, along with a 200mw pcmcia senao card provided by VK2TWU. To
say the least AP02 now ROCKS.
Now to get AP03 back online - hint hint Aceman, and looking at the possibility of another 2 AP locations.
Hopefully
2005 will prove to be a time for growth of the network. With testing
happening out at Limekilns on the books our coverage is certainly
growing.
