 Firstly; the WaveGuide at bxwifiap01 is now back up and running thanks
to some work by Cazam! This means that bxwifiap02's (Barnacles AP)
segment of the network is now also back up and connected. There is
apparently a problem with the new WaveGuide spitting the feed out (same
as the last WaveGuide) and last I heard Cazam was looking into fixing
this. The rain sure did cause some downtime, but it was all unplanned
(if only we knew it was going to keep raining for days after taking it
down). I remember a while ago when Cazam and I were coming off the roof
at bxwifiap01 after some testing not long after it rained.. Cazam
almost took his arm off climbing back inside. Safety first.
Secondly;
we now have an internal IRC server running on bxwifiap01. It can be
reached using its DNS name irc.bathurst.wireless (/server
irc.bathurst.wireless [mIRC, et all]), or by 10.10.0.1 if you are
having problems. If you are having problems connecting it may be due to
IDENT problems. If this occurs let me know and I will add a DNS entry
for your node, if you don't have one yet.
