Yeah it's up and running.

Great to hear

upgraded this weekend to 802.11g AP.
I would suggest to keep all AP's as 802.11b for several reasons.
802.11g is more prone to multi path reflection and can often make connecting to the AP worse for people trying to connect.
802.11g also gives people the opportunity to connect at higher speeds and saturate the backbone (or you main link into the network), requiring unneeded aditional QOS work.
with 802.11b, someone can still get unbelievably speeds anyway (one node gets about 700KB from me at off peak times)

When you are playing with the links, give me a yell and ill come n play

Behind every little problem there's a larger problem, waiting for the little problem to get out of the way. When I do figure out the problem, my mind is like lightning, one brilliant flash then it is gone!

I agree X 500KB should be fast enough for even the most hard core leach. most people would be lucky to see 150KB over the internet.

until we can find/build some proper channel filters we are going to have alot of problems with the conjested 2.4ghz airways when trying to run more then 3 ap's/devices

What about using 5.4ghz?

I'm getting 200k from X's site which I'm pretty impressed by.

Manage to upload a few gb's too
