I have for sale the following kit which was going to be a project with a friend but the friend pulled out.

1 x Hills 25Db Parabolic Grid Antenna
1 x Facia Mounting J-Mast
1 x Linksys Access Point 54Mbps (WAP54G)
1 x Linksys Power Over Ethernet Kit
1 x Junction Box for Access point (water Proof)
4 x Cable Glands (water proof)

Free Freight To Bathurst Area

Dont want to split items up selling as is and as stated never been used. All still in packaging

$300.00

The setup cost me as follows:

Antenna $170.00
J-Mast$ $15.00
Access Point $95.00
Power Over Ethernet Kit $75.00
Housing For Access Point (Junction Box Heavy Duty Water Proof)) $45.00
Cable Glands $10.00

Then Freight on top . Excess of $400.00!!!!

If you still wanted to try a network in Orange, perhaps a pm to adm in these forums. Depending on where the two of you live you might be able to get a network up and running, which will be a starting point for something bigger.
