I am in Parson Cl off Green Street

What Ap's can you see from your place?

I've got a mate up on Beavis PL who's got a perfect view of most of kelso etc and up into west bathurst.

Trying to get 2mbit connect to each other I'm on the otherside of the hill near burgess pl.

Hey Neo.

I can see ap02 ap02a ap03 ap01(down atm) and XtremeX. I am also planing an active repeater so that I can connect to ap07 (george st)

ontop of that I can see mount ovens

where abouts in beavis place? as I will hope to act as a central hub for all of the ap's I can see and might be able to offer a p2p or p2mp link

Hi

What street are you in ?
I know of some great products for PTP PTMP and quite cheap now .. If you are in a central location a PTMP would be good .. with a sector good DB antenna ..

In Parsons close

I am in testing with openwrt on a rb433. just trying to get olsr sorted it will have 3 cards in it for backbone p2p p2mp links and then ap's will be bullets.

I am happy to stick with p2p for high traffic ap's as mast space should not be too much of an issue as I have 2 now. rf bandwidth will be the limiting factor.

what products did you have in mind?

I think I can see your house btw

Hi Zac

Geez that would be good if you could I think I can see Beavis Place BTW ..
Well I am just about to do a 900mhz xr9's to a friend NLOS in Vittoria street on RB433 I also am using 22 db yagis ..
I have 10 x SR9's, another 2 x XR9's, 2 XR2's, 2 x R52's
2 x Ubi router boards, 1 Bullet 1000mw with 15 db Omni antenna, 1 x Nanostation loco Thats about it LOL ..
I reckon with LOS you should go to 5.8 300 mbits at least 150 or 100 at worst .. There are some great products like the Bullet they now have there rocket version 150 meg ..
Maybe its nearly time to upgrade a lot of links and AP's around the area its so cheap to do it now ..
